Over de functie
A snapshot of your day
Are you a driven problem-solver who wants to join a friendly team with great collaboration and exciting work? Then you could be our new Manufacturing Engineer at our Test Facility
In this role, you’ll mainly support our core operations and work closely with colleagues who prepare workshop tests, as well as the team that plans assembly work within the assembly and test organization at Norrmalm, Finspång.
A typical day might start with a scheduled kick-off meeting. You lead the session and make sure the minutes are sent to all participants. You follow up on open points, so everything is in place for the Mechanical Running Test (MRT) about six weeks later.
In the afternoon, you handle orders to cover maintenance needs for the rigs. During the ordering process, you spot a gap in the plant documentation. You capture that gap in a list for later correction.
You wrap up the day by linking a new quick guide to a standard activity in the checklist.
How you’ll make an impact
- Streamline and improve processes across the test rigs.
- Own all preparations leading up to each Mechanical Running Test (MRT).
- Be cost-responsible for the test rig process (Digibid).
- Review outcomes after rig runs and prepare sales proposals/options for customers when needed.
- Share documentation responsibility for mechanical drawings of existing installations.
- Take part in ongoing modification projects that affect the operations.
- Work closely with the Test Rig Line Manager, rig maintenance lead, electrical/mechanical system owners for the rigs, workshop test preparation, and assembly planners.
What you bring
- Engineering background in operations, energy, electrical power, mechanical, or control systems.
- Practical experience in commissioning or maintenance of large machinery—ideally turbines—is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, with administrative experience and solid computer skills.
- A structured, proactive problem-solver mindset.
- Persistence, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.
