A Snapshot of Your Day 


As Industrial Cybersecurity Test Manager you will drive the definition and implementation of a cybersecurity testing strategy for our IT and OT systems. You will closely cooperate with stakeholders to align the strategy to the needs of our business. You will support internal and external projects to meet their cybersecurity requirements. Embedded in a team of cybersecurity experts you have the chance to see cybersecurity from different angles and continuously exchange with and learn from colleagues around the world.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Creating an Industrial Cybersecurity testing strategy: Driving the creation, implementation and improvement of a testing strategy for IT and OT systems for critical energy transmission systems.
  • Developing competencies: Supporting departments in the development of cybersecurity testing competencies.
  • Ensuring verification and validation: Defining how to continuously ensure that cybersecurity requirements are met and that systems are secure overall.
  • Guiding customer and R&D projects: Supporting customer and R&D projects to provide secure systems and solutions.
  • Aligning with cybersecurity processes: Aligning testing activities with cybersecurity processes to ensure execution and repeatability and fulfilling testing requirements from relevant regulations, standards and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443 and NERC CIP).
  • Creating the testing environment: Advising and supporting the creation of suitable testing environments and working closely with different departments to enable the cybersecurity testing strategy.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor or Master degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a focus on IT Security, or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in OT or product security.
  • Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO27001).
  • Experience in performing cybersecurity testing in the discipline of OT or product security. Skills in using testing tools like Kali Linux, Nessus, Wireshark and Nmap, as well as with firewalls, certificates, intrusion detection systems, TLS/SSL, 802.1X.
  • Proven ability to develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, as well as demonstrated experience in driving cybersecurity testing in OT or product security.
  • Ability to drive topics continuous and sustainable, proficiency in German and English, with a high level of initiative and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, and backlog management.
