A Snapshot of your Day
As a Working Student with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy you will support the daily operations of the Godewind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms within the North & East Europe service team. To meet this operational need, the role focuses on two main areas: providing direct support to the daily operational activities of the wind farms and assisting with administrative and project coordination tasks. This structure ensures the student can contribute effectively to both the technical and organizational aspects of wind farm management. Given the focus on operational and administrative support, the ideal candidate will be a student currently enrolled in a relevant engineering or business program, possessing strong organizational skills and a keen interest in the renewable energy sector.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Support Operations Management in daily tasks
- Support on site team with daily (technical) tasks
- Maintain reports and prepare slide decks for meetings
- Maintain and organize project documentation, operational records, and team files
- Help organize team meetings and customer meetings
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in operations or project coordination (internships, co-ops, or 1–3 years professional preferred)
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; comfort building trackers, reports, and presentations
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and effective stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated interest in wind power or broader renewables
