A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) Overhead Line Monitoring and Inspection at Siemens Energy, where you will create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing digital experiences that meet user needs and business goals. Imagine collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You will conduct user research, develop wireframes, and design clean, modern user interfaces that align with our brand’s design system. Your work will not only enhance user satisfaction but also contribute to our mission of providing sustainable energy solutions!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes, validating designs through user testing and iterating based on feedback
- Design clean, modern user interfaces that adhere to brand guidelines and build UI components within design systems
- Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet accessibility guidelines and advocate for user-centered design throughout the product lifecycle
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX process and UI design work
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
- Understanding of HTML/CSS concepts (development skills not required) and experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Proven experience developing user interface platforms for energy sector organizations, such as Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and Distribution System Operators (DSOs)
- Familiarity with design systems, prototyping tools, and collaboration tools (e.g., FigJam, Miro)
