In the Field Service Representative (FSR) role, the incumbent is responsible for installing and servicing Siemens Energy, Dresser, and non-OEM compressors and auxiliary equipment globally. Acting as a vital intermediary, the FSR liaises between customers and the company, collaborating with management, sales, and technical support to ensure service integrity, while focusing on turbo compressors and being accountable for all mechanical aspects during equipment installation and overhaul during service outages.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Capable of performing mechanical installation and overhaul of turbo compressor packages and related equipment, adhering to the highest quality standards as per OEM specifications.
• Experienced in supervising and providing directions to a team for the complete overhaul and installation of turbo compressors according to service requirements.
• Verify OEM installation instructions and readings, including baseplate levelness and alignment, to ensure accurate setup.
• Interpret P&ID and dimensional drawings to facilitate accurate installation and fixing.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis when vital and communicate progress, schedules, and spare part recommendations to clients while preparing detailed technical reports.
• Maintain a Zero-harm culture by following and enforcing all company and customer EHS policies, while also being prepared to travel for extended periods, work under difficult conditions, and perform physically fast paced tasks.

What You Bring

• High School/GED diploma or Engineering degree with equivalent years of experience, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience in the overhaul of turbo compressor packages and related equipment.
• Sophisticated proficiency in precision measurement techniques and fluent use of standard office software and portal-based systems for reporting time, expenses, and service reports.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and passport, and complete offshore survival and firefighting courses as required.
• Excellent professional communication skills, both written and oral, with the capability to engage in difficult discussions with customers to protect company interests.
• Basic commercial knowledge to comprehend contract work and find opportunities for additional funding, with a willingness to travel at least 80% domestically and internationally.
• Preferred qualifications include previous training or certification on Siemens and Dresser Rand products, commissioning experience, knowledge of instrumentation and control systems of TCP, proficiency in English as a second language, and prior sales or client-facing experience

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
