役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
You will work on customer acquisitions, planning and bidding for large combined cycle power plants to be built in the Middle East region. Your focus is to implement our OEM equipment in the best possible manner. Together with sales colleagues, you will visit customers in the region, advise them on the thermodynamic design of power plants, and then create the technical foundation for many other internal and external engineering disciplines involved in power plant planning. Expect close technical interaction with customers and numerous internal and external engineering teams who will both provide you with information and rely on your thermodynamic calculations. Many of these colleagues work at other locations, e.g. in Germany or North America.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform thermodynamic calculations for Siemens Energy power plant projects and external general contractors, focusing on gas and steam turbine power plants
- Work on projects during both customer acquisition and proposal phases and support the development of new power plant concepts for the Middle East region
- Clarify concepts between customers in the region, sales, back offices and other stakeholders involved
What You Bring
- Successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, or similar
- Solid theoretical knowledge in the thermodynamics of thermal power plants and turbomachinery required
- Preferably more than 3 years of experience in power plant thermodynamics
- Ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with tasks outside your core expertise
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German and Arabic are advantageous
- Strong communication skills, initiative, creativity, and assertiveness required
