A Snapshot of Your Day

As Teamlead Operation / Purchasing, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy’s supply chain delivers efficiently, reliably, and in line with future business needs. You will manage both operational purchasing activities and supplier performance across manufacturing and service operations, while fostering collaboration between internal and external stakeholders. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, combining people development, operational excellence, and a focus on continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Champion Siemens Energy’s values while driving the continued growth and development of the Blades & Vanes organisation.

  • Serve as a key member of the BV AGT management team, shaping supply chain strategy, culture, and operational priorities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and service teams to strengthen supply chain performance.

  • Lead supplier management activities, setting clear operational targets, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement in delivery, cost, and quality.

  • Own the operational purchasing process for BV AGT, promoting a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning.

  • Measure, analyse, and improve purchasing and delivery KPIs, ensuring best-in-class performance across all functions.

  • Oversee workload forecasts, resource planning, and capacity management to align with business requirements.

  • Mentor, support, and develop team members to achieve agreed objectives and professional growth.

  • Ensure seamless cooperation between local and global procurement teams, leveraging Siemens Energy’s global supplier network and tools to support business goals.

What You Bring

  • University degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related engineering or business discipline.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, from demand planning through to delivery.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Commercially skilled, result-oriented, and confident managing complex supplier relationships.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multiple levels and functions.

  • Strong focus on people development, fostering teamwork and accountability.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term business goals.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. This includes zero or low-emission power generation, along with all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators under one roof. We provide decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
