A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Siemens Energy, you'll guide supplier qualifications, audits, and development alongside procurement and operations teams to build a robust global supply chain for components and field services. In a collaborative, multicultural environment, you'll address quality issues through root cause analysis and proactive risk measures. Your contributions will help ensure reliable, high-quality delivery that powers our energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess supplier capabilities, audit quality systems, and ensure products and services align with standards and specifications.
  • Support Product and Process Qualifications (PPQ) for commodity parts, systems, and field services, including planning, tracking milestones, and managing resources.
  • Conduct source, virtual, or desk inspections for suppliers of components, systems, and field services within your area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate nonconformance resolution at suppliers, implementing actions to support ongoing quality improvements.
  • Track supplier performance indicators to inform quality, inspection, and development planning.
  • Facilitate supplier status meetings, manage quality tools and databases (SAP preferred), and oversee service suppliers like scaffolding and machining.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (equivalent education/experience considered).
  • 5+ years in field service, supplier quality, or quality management, ideally in energy generation or industrial processes.
  • Technical experience with industrial technologies/field services, including welding knowledge.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, quality methodologies, and risk management practices.
  • Strong English communication skills with advanced presentation abilities and basic commercial awareness.
  • Collaborative self-starter for multicultural, cross-functional teams (up to 30% domestic/international travel).

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
