A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the Cold Blades & Vanes Commodity, where you will play a pivotal role in driving supplier qualification and development for sustainable quality improvements. Imagine analyzing supplier performance, conducting thorough root cause analyses, and collaborating with suppliers to implement effective corrective and preventive actions. You will conduct supplier audits, engage in quality planning within SAP, and review essential supplier documentation. Your expertise will support product development and quality notifications while you work closely with a dynamic distributed team, making a significant impact on our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead supplier qualification and development initiatives to enhance quality across the supply base, focusing on hot rolling, die forging, conventional machining, and coating technologies.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics and complete or support comprehensive supplier audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analyses of defects, initiating and monitoring corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with suppliers.
- Collaborate with the global SQD team to support early supplier involvement in the product development process, ensuring quality is integrated from the start.
- Manage quality planning activities, including inspections and system settings maintenance in SAP, while serving as the central point of contact between suppliers, engineering, and procurement teams.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in quality management, engineering, materials, manufacturing, or purchasing.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: die forging, conventional machining, or metal coating.
- Proven experience in supplier selection and product/process qualification, with a strong grasp of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP Materials Management and Quality Management
- Business fluency in Hungarian and English; German is a plus. Willingness to travel worldwide up to 20% of the time.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
