A Snapshot of Your Day
For our office in Ballerup, we are looking for a Student Worker to ensure business continuity within the Primary Engineering team, which focuses on offshore and Danish substation projects. The role provides essential part-time support to maintain operational momentum as the current student worker’s contract ends. You will play a crucial role in assisting senior engineers and supporting project documentation and data management. Your day will involve collaborating with dedicated team members to ensure the efficient execution of engineering tasks and administrative support.
How You’ll Make an Impact
60% Engineering Support & Assistance
- Assist senior engineers in the preparation and modification of technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
- Support the creation and review of technical documentation, such as parts lists, specifications, and project reports.
- Perform basic calculations and data collection under the direct guidance of an engineering mentor.
- Help prepare materials and presentations for technical reviews and project meetings.
40% Administrative & Project Coordination Support
- Maintain and organize project documentation within the team’s filing systems and databases.
- Assist in tracking project-related data and updating status lists or spreadsheets.
- Provide general administrative support to the Primary Engineering team as needed.
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- No prior professional experience is required; this is an entry-level student position designed for learning and development.
- Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail.
- Foundational understanding of engineering principles, enabling quick integration into the team’s workflow.
- Technical abilities in Electrical Engineering Principles, Technical Documentation, and Data Analysis.
- Behavioral competencies including Attention to Detail, Ability to Learn Quickly, Communication Skills, and Teamwork and Collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic proficiency in CAD Software.
