As a Structural Engineer specializing in offshore FPSO projects, you will be responsible for the comprehensive design, analysis, and optimization of Module structures. This role involves conducting detailed project-specific studies for both commercial and R&D initiatives, ensuring the structural integrity of key components. You will serve as the central point of contact for the structural design scope throughout the project lifecycle, from the initial sales phase to final installation. This requires close collaboration with a distributed, multi-disciplinary team of experts in sales, loads analysis, project management, and CAD design. Your role will be crucial in defining project plans, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all timelines are met in a dynamic, international environment.

How You'll make an Impact

• 60% Structural Design & Analysis
  • Perform project-specific structure design for E-house Module and optimization studies for commercial and R&D projects
  • Conduct detailed design and analysis of E-house Module structures, adhering to Marine standards
  • Implement detailed analytical to ensure structural integrity and performance
• 30% Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the E house Module design scope on assigned projects, from the sales phase through installation.
  • Define project plans, monitor deliverables, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate frequently with internal design partners, including sales, loads, project management, and CAD design teams.
• 10% Supplier & Certification Support
  • Support the technical qualification of new suppliers for structural components.
  • Prepare and deliver required documentation for the certification of the support structure.

Education

• Degree in Structural / Mechanical Engineering with 6 to 8 years working experience in related field
• Minimum of 3 years of proven, relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore industry for E-house module
