A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our ambitious Newcastle team as a Lead, where your expertise drives the performance and reliability of Siemens Energy’s fleet of large steam turbines. You’ll take charge of analysing complex turbine data, developing technical recommendations, and leading maintenance strategies that keep power stations running efficiently. Every day, you’ll champion communication with colleagues and customers, tackle technical challenges at our CAPW service facility, and guide innovative projects that shape the future of energy. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead technical investigations and develop recommendations for Siemens Energy’s steam turbine product line
- Oversee outage planning and maintenance activities, collaborating with internal teams and external customers
- Take initiative to resolve customer issues, building strong relationships and delivering effective solutions
- Document findings and drive continuous improvement across service operations
- Champion new ideas and approaches to support the energy transition and evolving customer needs
What You Bring
- A degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application to large rotating equipment
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with steam turbines or generators is highly beneficial
- High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is a plus

You’ll join a supportive team of 12 based in Newcastle, dedicated to providing technical support for gas turbines, steam turbines, marine turbines, and new business fields. Our team values both fresh perspectives and seasoned expertise, working together to deliver reliable service and innovative solutions. We encourage learning, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to develop and contribute—whether you’re an Engineer or stepping into a Task Leader role.
