How You’ll Make an Impact
- Setup and operate conventional and CNC rotor shaft lathes
- Perform various machining operations on a variety of components from large nuclear to industrial single stage rotors
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot and problem solve
What You Bring
- Sound knowledge in the use of mathematics, interpreting complex drawings, specifications and use of various precision machining instruments
- Associates degree in machining and minimum 2 years of experience with large CNC lathes OR 5= years of proven ability
- Experience with Siemens 840D and Fanuc controls is an asset
- Experience with live head drilling / milling is an asset
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
