役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Services Engineer within our SGT-A20 Engineering Team, you will play a key role in supporting the global fleet of aero-derivative gas turbines. Your day will involve solving complex technical challenges, supporting field and regional service teams, and driving improvements in reliability, safety, and operational performance across the fleet.
Working closely with engineering specialists, customers, and operational teams, you’ll investigate defects, develop technical solutions, and support research and development activities aimed at improving key performance indicators across the SGT-A20 product range. This is a highly collaborative role with opportunities to work internationally and contribute directly to the future of aero-derivative gas turbine technology.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Deliver technical engineering solutions for Aero-derivative Gas Turbines, supporting both immediate operational issues and long-term fleet improvements.
• Lead complex defect investigations on engine and package components using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve fleet reliability, safety, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Provide specialist engineering support to regional technical teams and field service operations across the global fleet.
• Develop and author Service Bulletins, Technical Instructions, and technical risk assessments to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Support research and development projects focused on enhancing the key performance indicators of the SGT-A20 product line.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders, presenting technical updates and supporting effective communication on engineering issues.
• Support global operational activities through occasional international travel and on-site technical support.
What You Bring
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Ideally 5+ years of experience working with gas turbines or related technologies, preferably within a service, operational, or fleet support environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience conducting technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities.
• Good understanding of gas turbine systems, engine operation, and associated package equipment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering technical excellence and operational support.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global engineering environment.
• Flexible approach with willingness to travel internationally when required.
