Snapshot of your day
As a Service Technician at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing wind turbines at our wind farms in Fryslân or Westermeerwind. You will work in a rotating schedule of four days on and four days off and be part of a dedicated team ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our offshore and nearshore wind energy assets.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Perform offshore and nearshore service, maintenance, and repair activities on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Carry out predominantly electrical work (approx. 70%), complemented by mechanical tasks (approx. 30%).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, hydraulics, and control systems.
  • Document service activities by writing clear and accurate technical reports, including safety and research findings.
  • Work closely with a team of at least two technicians to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Siemens Energy’s quality, safety, and operational procedures.

What you bring

  • An MBO-4 degree in Electrical Engineering, AOT, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
  • Experience with hydraulics and control systems.
  • A strong affinity for electrical systems and components.
  • A flexible, analytical, and quality-oriented mindset, with strong teamwork skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English, particularly technical English.
  • The ability to reach Breezanddijk (or Lemmer) within a maximum one-way travel time of 45 minutes.
