How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide timely engineering support for technical queries on large gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators across APAC from internal/external customers.
  • Act as focal point for technical issues in APAC, coordinating with global multi-functional teams on outage preparation and execution.
  • Develop comprehensive outage plans for gas turbine maintenance by analyzing technical data and collaborating across regions.
  • Prepare clear, engaging presentations summarizing outage scope, issues, solutions for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Deliver on/off-site technical expertise during outages at Siemens Energy power plants to resolve issues effectively.
  • Provide outage feedback on GT validation, operations, commissioning, tuning, testing, balancing, risk assessment, and root cause analysis to enhance team capabilities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process)
  • Strong knowledge of power generation equipment operations and maintenance; Siemens Energy turbine experience advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks across APAC.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse global multi-functional teams in fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English (written/oral); additional languages advantageous.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% for on-site inspections and work outside regular business hours as required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
