A Snapshot of your Day

We’re looking for a senior UI/UX SW developer who will help to transform our approach to a common user experience across our SW portfolio.

As a Senior UI/UX Designer with over 10 years of experience in the digital design field, you specialize in creating intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance user experience and engagement. Your expertise spans across designing for web, mobile, and tablet platforms, with a strong focus on creating seamless, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that meet both user needs and business goals.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You are fundamental in establishing and in defining the standards for our future common User Experience in close collaboration with our central Communication team around Brandville.
  • You will work closely with the business units; you will be responsible for the experience design for innovative software.
  • Develop operating concepts for a variety of products and visualize your concepts using low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes utilizing modern design tools like Figma.
  • Establish reusable libraries to ensure other UI/UX developer across SE can benefit from pre-defined layout modules.
  • Support all phases of the human-centered design process, from developing a strategy and vision through to final product development.
  • Represent the needs of users to various stakeholders in their respective project teams and beyond.
  • Identify the needs of different user groups in user research and translate them into user journey maps and product requirements.

What You Bring 

  • Design Tools: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, and InVision.
  • User Research: Experienced in conducting user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Prototyping: Skilled in creating high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate and test design concepts.
  • Collaboration: Effective team player who collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive design approach.
  • Accessibility: Committed to designing accessible and inclusive products that cater to a diverse user base.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experienced working in agile environments, facilitating design sprints, and iterative design processes.
  • You have a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or similar.
  • You can proof continuous education through workshops and courses in UX design, interaction design, and user psychology.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Your portfolio showcases a range of projects that highlight your ability to solve complex design challenges with user-centric solutions.
  • You can provide case studies that detail the design process from research to final implementation.
  • Fair knowledge of project management software such as Atlassian (Jira).
  • Fluent English language (both oral and writing) is essential, German language preferable.
