- Your partnering projects (acquisitions, divestments, etc.) have a direct impact on Grid Technology’s growth and profitability
- Your proficiency in carrying out projects in an agile manner, merging quick and adaptable approaches for short implementation periods. You are well connected inside the start-up and M&A world. This facilitates finding the right approaches to any challenge quickly
- You develop and implement the M&A strategy, identifying potential acquisition targets that align with the company's strategic objectives
- You conduct market research and thorough due diligence on potential acquisition targets, evaluating their financial and strategic fit with the company, including financial, legal, and operational aspects
- You lead negotiations and deal structuring with potential acquisition targets and their advisors, including purchase price, financing, and other terms and conditions
- You prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials to support senior management and board decision-making on potential acquisitions and you manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Long term experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development roles
- Strong financial competence and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial information and develop financial models
- Strong negotiating skills and the ability to structure and complete complex transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team member and to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
