A Snapshot of Your Day
Software Development Engineering (High Tech) focuses on developing multiple types/categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software, that provides a platform for running end user applications for sale to external customers. The work includes: Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics Using programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write the software code Supporting software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements Applying knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the entire development stack.
· Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support continuous integration and delivery.
· Manage end-to-end deployment of applications, ensuring secure and efficient delivery across environments.
· Participate in community of practice to drive improvements in DevOps delivery.
· Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other developers to define and implement software solutions aligned with business goals.
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
· Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across environments.
· Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Next.js.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, Node.js,
- Proficiency in REST API and GraphQL development.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines, Devops practices using Azure
- Experience in managing Azure resources including Azure Monitor, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and private networking.
- Proficient in utilizing SonarQube, dependency tracking tools, and integrating GitLeaks.
- Knowledge of relational and nonrelational databases like MongoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
