役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
Your day starts at a customer site or client office, leading and supervising field service teams during the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam turbines and generators. You’ll coordinate staffing, review contract requirements, and ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards. Throughout the day, you provide technical expertise, resolve issues, and prepare detailed reports on equipment condition and repairs. This role involves dynamic interaction with customers and internal teams, requiring flexibility and leadership to manage multiple priorities. Expect frequent travel—up to 80%—to support projects across different locations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and supervise field service engineers, technicians, and craft labor during installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of steam turbines and generators at customer sites.
- Coordinate and manage project staffing, ensuring proper resource allocation and timely execution of work at customer locations.
- Provide technical expertise on steam turbines to internal teams, customers, product line management, and suppliers, supporting issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Review and execute customer contract requirements, ensuring compliance with scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Prepare accurate reports detailing equipment condition, repairs performed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a mechanical field service engineer for combustion turbines, with strong technical knowledge of turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
- Professional English proficiency, both written and spoken, with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time, sometimes on short notice.
- Leadership and organizational skills to lead crews and interface with multiple levels of customer organizations, combined with strong planning and attention to detail.
- Soft skills: teamwork, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to conceptualize ideas, make recommendations, and facilitate consensus.
