A Snapshot of Your Day
The global energy transition is driving a rapidly increasing demand for high‑voltage equipment. Digitalization and automation play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing effort, and increasing factory output.
As part of international projects for new factory construction and capacity expansion in the field of high‑voltage products, we are looking for an experienced Senior Expert (f/m/d) Process Digitalization and Implementation. The role is embedded in a technically demanding, globally operating environment and requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and cultures.
In this position, you will be responsible for defining and executing digitalization and IT implementations within international factory and expansion projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the digitalization and automation of power transformer manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and innovation.
- Develop and manage budgets for digitalization activities in capacity expansion projects, aligning financial resources with strategic goals.
- Define technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment based on the Digital Lighthouse catalog, facilitating advanced manufacturing solutions.
- Collaborate with procurement to support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at supplier sites, ensuring equipment meets required standards.
- Define local requirements for implementing the standard Siemens Energy IT landscape and set up digital workflow processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor project progress across all assigned projects, ensuring compliance with budget, schedule, and quality requirements while preparing documentation for stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Completed degree in engineering and/or digitalization, preferably with a focus on automation in engineer-to-order environments.
- Long time experience in the field of digitalization of manufacturing processes, showcasing expertise in the industry as well as solid IT knowledge and experience with large software implementation projects, demonstrating technical proficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience in international and intercultural teams, fostering effective teamwork.
- High willingness to travel internationally and flexibility to work at various locations, adapting to project needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for close cooperation with internal and external partners, including machine suppliers and project managers, along with an analytical mindset and structured working style.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, German language knowledge is a plus.
