A Snapshot of Your Day 

In your new role you will establish a team with the chief responsibility to develop and implement consulting projects in energy transformation fields. You will be responsible for coordination and project management of studies, business cases, economic analysis, and proof of concepts for electrification and decarbonization of high CO2 emitting industry verticals and electrical power systems. You will lead the business transformation projects and organizational change initiatives for our industry. The customer relationships is your daily business. A huge part of your work will be the coordination of external partners and sub suppliers and using Grid Consulting business as a lever to generate Siemens Energy business opportunities. Representing the company in grid-related standardization committees, working groups, workshops and conferences rounds off your day.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Coordinating and leading our projects in the different areas of our responsibilities
  • Developing electrification strategies and roadmaps for energy customers around the world
  • Carrying out business development activities by presenting the capabilities of our products and solutions to existing and prospective clients
  • Strengthening and growing contacts to our customers worldwide, optimally maintain customer relationships and drive business development and sales to grow the business
  • Cooperating with external Partners for quality delivery of projects
What You Bring
  • Completed university degree in engineering, business or economics, PhD or MBA considered an advantage
  • Long-term working experience in consulting in electrical utilities, industrial decarbonization, sustainability, digitalization
  • Experience and expertise in Hydrogen, Smart Grids, Carbon-Footprint Reduction Technologies and Renewable fields preferred
  • Validated knowledge and experience regarding the design and implementation of technology adoption roadmaps for electrical utilities or industrial consumers
  • Good communication skills in a business environment - proficient in English. German is a plus
  • Ability to foster creativity, teamwork, customer orientation and diversity in your work environment
  • Strong skills in the field of organization, strategic thinking, training, executive level communication and problem solving
