A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Manager, you will spearhead sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland for the product portfolio represented by Grid Technology Sales organizations. Leading a team of account managers and sales specialists, you will establish sales priorities for the sub-region in alignment with the European sales strategy, ensuring the achievement of organizational goals.
Your role will focus on fostering a positive and high-performance culture within the sales team, providing coaching and mentorship to enhance the capabilities of each sales professional.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in the GT S UK & IE leadership team, contributing to the development of local strategies and collaboratively driving the company’s overall business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead, build, and motivate the sales team while fostering a culture of safety and employee well-being.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and order targets.
- Proactively manage the pipeline across all portfolio products, solutions, and services.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, utilizing technologies like AI where beneficial.
- Implement performance metrics, monitor key performance indicators, and take corrective actions as needed.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in leading large sales teams within the industrial sales sector.
- Proven success in driving cultural transformation within teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth in complex markets across a diverse portfolio of products and solutions.
- Ideally holds an engineering qualification, with a focus on electrical engineering.
