As a Supplier Quality Management Coordinator, you will lead and oversee the activities of our Supplier Quality Engineers, ensuring alignment in processes, priorities, and performance. Your role will focus on coordinating supplier qualifications, audits, assessments, and improvement initiatives, while also driving consistency and efficiency in the way supplier quality is managed across our organization.

By ensuring strong collaboration and providing guidance to the team, you will help safeguard the quality of deliverables and enhance supplier performance, directly contributing to the resilience and competitiveness of our supply chain.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the Supplier Quality Engineers team across regions, ensuring alignment with global quality strategies and performance metrics.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between supplier quality, procurement, engineering, and project management teams to ensure consistent execution and issue resolution
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and approvals in compliance with IMS standards, ISO requirements, and relevant industry regulations.
• Drive Non-Conformance Management by leading root cause analyses and implementing corrective/preventive actions across multiple projects.
• Monitor and consolidate supplier performance reporting, support escalation processes, and promote transparency around supplier-related risks and costs.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Supplier Quality Engineers to enhance technical expertise and strengthen leadership capabilities across the organization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, with demonstrated leadership and coordination of cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier qualification processes, audits, and international quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and risk management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Highly motivated to work in a global environment, open to frequent regional collaboration and international travel (US visa required).

About the Team

The Supplier Quality Management Coordinator will report directly to the QM Manager of the Guanajuato SE GT PR TAM GJT Factory. The main objective of the area is to ensure the implementation and execution of our Zero Failures Culture. We work with a program that focuses on achieving the support and development of quality culture for our process approach.
