A Snapshot of Your Day
You work within Siemens Energy’s SAP S/4HANA environment, focusing on master data migration and integration. Your day combines hands-on MDG migration execution with deep data analysis, mapping design, and business validation. You collaborate with data governance, integration, and business teams to ensure migrated master data is technically correct, deduplicated, and usable in end-to-end business processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Execute SAP MDG master data migrations (BP, Customer, Vendor, Material) within the S/4HANA environment.
- Define and implement data migration strategies, mapping rules, and transformation logic for legacy to S/4 conversion
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication activities aligned with business rules
- Design and execute ETL processes (Extraction, Transformation, Load) using SAP BODS, Snowflake, or similar tools.
- Build and run staging, reconciliation, and validation frameworks using Snowflake and advanced SQL.
- Manage large-scale MDG mass processing / CMP loads, including error handling and reprocessing.
- Define and validate business mapping rules (e.g., bank, tax, sales areas, partner functions, roles) across segments
- Perform data reconciliation and migration testing (unit, SIT, mock loads, cutover) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Analyze and resolve MDG migration errors, data inconsistencies, and replication issues across integrated systems.
- Collaborate with business and governance stakeholders to ensure data usability, compliance, and process fit.
- Support cutover planning, migration sequencing, and go-live readiness activities.
- Work with data governance, business, and integration teams to ensure end-to-end usability of data.
