A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of the Gas Service organization with extended support of the Product Competence Centers (PCC’s) of Siemens Energy for Small Gas Turbines in Latin America team! This position, in coordination with Client Managers will also perform proactive client site visits to resolve scope needed and support opportunities for parts sales.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Primary Point of contact for the assigned country for all repair opportunities.
• Work in coordination with the Sales and Project Manager organization on the execution of Repair opportunities.
• Responsible for doing, processing, and controlling the repair report
• Plan the required field service resources for repair opportunities
• Collaborating closely and coordinating with the relevant PCCs to establish timely submission of quotations and proposals. Ensure maximum levels of Quote Response Time (QRT) and call out if required.
• Initiate Engineering jobs for review and updates as needed by client requirements.
• Coordinate with Order Management and PM s teams the requirement for a specific order to ensure there are not delays on the timeline.
• Review and validated lead times by use of current manufacturing department data, direct negotiations with planners, buyers and service shop personnel. Using available resources provide delivery alternatives when vital for purchased and manufactured items.
• Proactively follow up on opportunity status prior to quote validity expiry; provide extension / quote revalidation if required.
• Review forecasted outages and future opportunities with Client manager and support the planning activities with the Project management team and service shop representatives.

What You Bring

• At least 8 years of experience in field of Rotating Equipment SGT & MGT. Compression experienced is a plus.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills in English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point), Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP etc.) is highly desirable.
• Bachelors / Diploma or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
• Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to accomplish end goals. Knowledge and understanding of Siemens Energy’s products and services.
• Domestic / International travel required.
