A Snapshot of Your Day
We are hiring Quality Supervisors/Inspectors to support quality assurance at a supplier producing wind‑turbine blades (build‑to‑print).
You will ensure correct execution of inspection plans, document deviations, and maintain strong shop‑floor presence.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Own daily shop-floor quality: plan/perform ad-hoc and scheduled inspections on production and yard/warehouse WIP; record deviations, contain, and verify corrections.
• Lead NCR management: open/manage NCRs in SAP, shepherd root-cause analysis, and verify effectiveness of CAPA with the supplier.
• Trend & act: analyze defect and process capability data, to spot patterns and trigger 8D / RCA and process control updates.
• Audit & Gemba: participate in internal/supplier audits and quality Gemba walks; ensure closure of findings.
• Documentation & standards: ensure as build documentation (BoD), inspection points, and quality records meet applicable standards and manufacturing quality expectations.
• Ramp-up & Technical transfer: support technology transfer and ramp-up workstreams (line readiness, first-article validation, control plans, capability checks).
• Coaching & upskilling: mentor supplier inspectors/QC coaches; help qualify/standardize inspection methods and data integrity.

What You Bring
Required Competences (Not all required as below) Background in manufacturing quality supervision (composites industry preferred).

Inspection & Composite Knowledge
• Experience with composite materials and blade related defects.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.

Pre Casting, Infusion & Curing
• Basic understanding of resin handling and pre infusion readiness.
• Ability to identify infusion or curing defects.
• Experience supporting Tg/curing validation (training provided).

Structural Components & Finishing
• Inspection of webs, caps, rails, root areas, bond lines, or trimming/finishing.
• Use of measurement tools (gauges, templates, rulers).

Repairs, Rework & Documentation
• Inspection of composite repairs from start to finish.
• Strong NCR documentation discipline.

NDT Inspection
• Ability to carry out or evaluate basic blade NDT such as tap testing, UT, thermography, or other documented methods.
• Data analysis, and identification of internal defects and proper reporting.

Paint & Surface Protection
• Inspection of paint/gelcoat layers, thickness, adhesion, uniformity, and surface preparation.
• Inspection of LEP (Leading Edge Protection) applications for accuracy and quality.

Add On Installation Inspection
• Inspection of aerodynamic add ons including serrations, vortex generators, and trailing edge elements.
• Verification of positioning, bonding, alignment, and curing.

Behavior & Collaboration
• Strong shop floor presence and proactive problem identification.
• Clear communication with supplier teams.

Qualifications
• Experience in quality inspection (composites preferred).
• Familiarity with WIs, inspection plans, and NCR processes.
• Fluent English.
