A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking to expand our team with an on-site Quality Engineer, to be the technical quality authority for BtP production of wind turbine blades at the supplier. You’ll translate standards and CTQs into robust control plans, lead APQP4Wind activities, and drive systemic improvements across materials, processes, and data.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• Standards integration: ensure manufacturing controls, inspection regimes, and traceability align with SGRE standards
• Data-driven quality: monitor production and quality data, FPY, escapes, severe events, analyze defect and process capability data, to spot patterns and trigger 8D / RCA and process control updates.
• NCR portfolio management: maintain the site-level NCR overview, coordinate 8D closure, verify effectiveness, and prevent recurrence via spec/process updates.
• Assessments, audits & Gemba: co-lead supplier audits, process verification, and layered process audits; host customer/third-party visits as needed.
• APQP4Wind: ensure compliance with APQP4Wind across product/process planning in the BtP production (DFMEA/PFMEA, control plans, MSA, capability studies, PPAP/production approval).
• Master data & documentation: support SAP master data and quality documentation 
• Support quality deliverables readiness during technical transfer and product/location introductions.
• Cross-functional enablement: partner with Manufacturing/Logistics, Engineering, and Sourcing to ensure manufacturability and on-time, in-spec deliveries.

What You Bring
• Degree in Engineering (mechanical, materials, industrial or similar) and experience in supplier-side quality engineering (wind/composites strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated use of APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, and capability analysis 
• Competences withing ISO 9001 audit practices is preferred.
• Comfortable applying relevant standards in production approval, process validation, and change control.
• Proven stakeholder management at the supplier, and ability to host customers/certifiers.
