A Snapshot of Your Day
The Supplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supporting the Global Gas Services Customer Operations business by coordinating and implementing supplier monitoring and supplier development activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate inspection planning and execution for international suppliers.
- Monitor and ensure compliance & effectiveness of overall supplier quality inspection program.
- Coordinate nonconformance processing program and ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Create Quality Assurance Agreements with key suppliers. Ensure implementation and effectiveness. Monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators and adjust quality, inspection, and development planning activities accordingly.
- Represent Supply Quality in cross functional meetings and strongly collaboration with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering and Quality Management. Ensure and improve the supplier quality in the assigned Projects.
- Manage various Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar field. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- At least 5 years preferred professional experience in supplier quality management or quality management. Technical experience / familiarity in power plant auxiliaries is a plus. Experience in quality planning and controlling.
- Experience in working with virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.
- You are a self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.
- You are extremely fluent (writing and speaking) in English and Spanish. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain a passport. Must have or be able to attain US work visa.
- Responsibility to comply and / or enforce the protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
