A Snapshot of Your Day 
As a Project Procurement Manager you will be the Procurement point of contact responsible for executing Service Procurement activities in Israel.
You will be responsible for identifying any new suppliers that are needed to meet the businesses needs, and for negotiating favorable costs, terms and conditions with those suppliers.  
You will take responsibility for projects and programs carried out in terms of key figures and results.  (CNI, SDR, payment terms, e-Auctions, etc.)
You will be responsible to actively seek contact with internal stakeholders, develop & strengthen cross-functional networks.

You will be a member of the Services Procurement organization that is responsible for developing procurement strategies for direct materials that will ensure the optimization of Siemens Energy’s competitive position. The Project Procurement Manager represents Procurement in the Project Management Team as Sub-project Manager Procurement

How You’ll Make an Impact 

Develop and Implement Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
Contribute with Procurement Management to the implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems, etc.)
Preparing and conduct negotiations to obtain highest feasible savings.
Generate, document, and implement savings, (e.g. CNI; plan, monitor, and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business) and make results transparent.
Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, on-boarding, development, etc.)
Make cross-functional partners aware of Procurement related practices, processes, and metrics.
Engage with Commodity Management to continuously drive the development of the supply base (Supplier selection, incl. documentation and communication of strategic suppliers, regular supplier and strategic evaluations, supplier classifications and supplier development to obtain and develop the best suppliers)  
Identify potential solutions and/or use cases to increase Digitalization and Automation within Service Operations Procurement activities
Engage and build a network with Project Management, Sales & Proposal, Engineering, Cost-Value Engineering, and Supplier Quality Management 
Conduct e-Sourcing activities as a lever to maximize savings for Siemens Energy.
Engage & follow up with your regional stakeholders and local team to reduce NCC’s (Non-Conformance Costs).
Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitioners) to ensure Customer care and early involvement.

What You Bring

University degree in a technical or business-related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement roles (Buyer, Project Procurement, Commodity Management) or similar expertise.
Ability to qualify and evaluate suppliers, classifications, development measures, create contract entries, create RFX and e-Auctions.
Ability to conduct regional market analysis independently and use common sense and past experiences to identify situations when considering on boarding new suppliers (e.g. basic understanding of Supplier financial status reports).
Knowledge of advanced negotiation methods combined with experience in contract management
Proponent of asking questions and looking for data that helps identify and differentiate symptoms and root causes of defined problem to suggest corrective measures that meet the needs of the situation and those directly affected.
Ability to evaluate the alternatives weighing up pros and cons and comparing the total impact of the courses of action.
Ability to facilitate and foster a cooperative approach beyond your own organizational unit & function.
Excellent communication skills, robust in their approach along with problem solving and proactive skills.
Focus on results and ability to drive best in class performance.
Familiarity of legal terms and ability to recognize risk and advantages to the business.
Confidence in managing exchange of information or complaints with colleagues and Suppliers.
Hebrew and English language skills required
Experience working in SAP
