How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Act as Sub-Project Manager Procurement in cross-functional, international teams delivering multi-million-euro energy transition and decarbonization projects; represent procurement in strategically important tender and execution phases.
  • Define and align the procurement strategy with the Project Core Team and Procurement Community across the full project lifecycle, ensuring early implementation of tailored sourcing strategies (incl. price escalation models and robust supplier offers) and regional collaboration models for on-/offshore scopes.
  • Manage procurement-relevant tender and award activities by reviewing customer contracts, setting and tracking project-specific goals (budget, controlling data, on-time delivery), and ensuring the use of qualified suppliers.
  • Optimize bid calculations and execution budgets through procurement levers, sourcing strategies, and close collaboration with engineering to drive cost-out initiatives.
  • Monitor market developments, perform supply scope and risk analyses, mitigate risks, lead supplier negotiations (including non-managed fields), and translate back-to-back requirements into project-specific supplier contracts.
  • Control procurement activities and resources, collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., engineering, scheduling, commercial management), support commodity managers, and ensure transparent reporting to project teams, customers, and management.

What You Bring

  • Degree in industrial/electrical engineering, business administration (MBA), or comparable qualification, with minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or project-related experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills with a customer- and solution-oriented mindset; self-driven, confident, and collaborative team player.
  • Digital mindset with excellent MS Office and SAP knowledge (PMP certification a plus), openness to AI-driven procurement solutions, and fluent English skills (German and/or French advantageous).
