A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Project Manager for Siemens Energy service contracts to lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex maintenance, repair, and upgrade services for large gas turbines and generators, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and customer expectations.
As the central point of coordination, the Project Manager will oversee resource planning, on-site execution, risk and claim management, and adherence to Siemens Energy’s Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), and quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless communication, operational excellence, and the timely delivery of key milestones.
Additionally, the Project Manager will foster strong customer relationships, identify opportunities for additional services, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably, reinforcing Siemens Energy’s commitment to innovation and exceptional service delivery.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage advanced service business operations and oversee complex service projects for Gas/Steam Turbines and Generators at combined cycle power plants. Conduct regular project review meetings with project teams to ensure alignment and progress.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), schedules, cost estimates, risk/opportunity assessments, crisis management strategies, procurement plans, quality assurance measures, and resource allocation. Identify and secure the necessary resources required for successful project execution.
- Define subcontractor requirements and oversee their selection, engagement, and performance. Facilitate project kick-off meetings and ongoing progress updates with key stakeholders. Lead daily/weekly onsite review meetings during outage phases to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
- Implement and oversee effective claim management processes. Ensure compliance with Siemens Energy's Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards throughout all project phases. Identify and leverage additional sales opportunities during project execution to enhance business growth.
- Drive successful project closure, including the achievement of key milestones such as PAC (Provisional Acceptance Certificate), TOC (Take-Over Certificate), and FAC (Final Acceptance Certificate). Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their trusted point of contact.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to offer products and services to existing and potential clients. Prepare and negotiate customer offers and contracts, ensuring alignment with business goals and standards.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university with 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the power generation or energy sector.
- Certified Project Manager (IPMA Level C/D) certification is highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work on-site during outage phases.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of driving project success.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to foster a positive team environment.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
