Working with the Local, Regional and Global teams and different Business Partners, the Project Manager must be able to ensure that projects are driven according to the standards stipulated within Project Excellence @ Siemens Energy and be able to handle, guide and support projects locally and within the region.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• As part of a multi-functional team, clarifies customers´ targets and requirements, and/or specification.
• Participates in tender discussions and represents the project in the relevant discussions; both internally & externally
• Coordinates overall planning of the project and decides on allocation of resources.
• Develops project strategies aligned with the Business Unit and responsible partners.
• Monitor’s breakthrough and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non- conformance cost.
• Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other partners.
• Participates in senior level engagement with customers and partners
• Adheres to Siemens Energy’s Project Management, Business Conduct Guidelines & HSE standards.
• Manages and coordinates all temporarily assigned project staff.
• Coordinate project implementation, improve safety, address issues, reduce costs and risks, coordinate suppliers, and apply lessons learned for better results.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering
• Should possess minimal 7 years of working experience within the areas of Transmission Products (GIS, AIS, TX, CBs etc)
• Has experience & knowledge of Transmission Products and Services
• Previous experience as site / field service technical supervisor would also be considered. Comfortable handling commercial-related topics.
• Able to exhibit a keen eye for detail with regards to Contract management.
• Able to communicate well within the local, regional, and distributed team.
• Understands cultural differences and copes with them effectively.
• Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations.
• Positive demeanour to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture.
• Strong competence in using IT Tools including Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce etc
• Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
• Must be effectively mobile both locally and regionally.
• PMP or IPMA Certification is a plus.
• Relevant training in PM including certification by a professional body.
