A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you start by reviewing project timelines and priorities, followed by a team briefing to discuss progress and goals. You collaborate with collaborators to share updates and gather feedback, encouraging positive relationships! Throughout the day, you analyze budgets, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Regular site visits ensure construction activities stay in sync with safety standards in the afternoon, you lead project review meetings with technical teams to resolve challenges. The day ends with documenting progress and preparing reports for senior management to maintain transparency and support project success!

  • Daily tasks include reviewing project timelines and priorities, leading team briefings, communicating with stakeholders, analyzing budgets and risks, conducting site visits to ensure safety compliance, and preparing progress reports for senior management.

What You Bring

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years in project management within AIS/GIS Substations EPC.
  • Project Management Proficiency: Familiarity with methodologies such as PMI and PM@ Siemens.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of high voltage AIS/GIS equipment and electrical engineering principles.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to analyze financials and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Risk Management: Strong skills in assessing and managing risks across multiple complex projects.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for stakeholder engagement and team motivation.
  • EHS Compliance: Experience ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance on projects.
  • Education & Certification: Engineering degree (Electrical preferred) and PMP certification, with hands-on field experience in HV-Substation construction and commissioning.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
