A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Coordinator of HVDC RMS Network Studies at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to decarbonization. Coordination of all HVDC RMS network studies, contribution to ensure cost, quality, time of deliverables and assure correct validation of RMS models is part of your daily activities. By closely monitoring the quality of deliverables, you are ensuring they are in line with our project program and will improve the efficiency of our company on our path to building a more sustainable tomorrow.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You are responsible for acceptance of deliveries from internal and external supplier for HVDC RMS network studies and model developments with respect to cost, quality, and time.
- You will coordinate the study scope performed by internal and external suppliers.
- You will assess the offered budget and negotiate cost and scope according to the overall strategy from the project management
- You will monitor the supplied quality during project execution and take measures if required
- You will track, if all deliveries are provided within the given deadlines and act, if required
- You will report regularly to the management of C&P studies providing overview of RMS network studies across all the HVDC projects
What You Bring
- University degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or control engineering
- Excellent technical background (minimum 5 years) in power system RMS studies and simulation tools (PowerFactory and PSS/E)
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English, ideally also German
- Project or Supplier Management background is preferred
- Assertive personality is favorable
