A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, Siemens Energy is in the process of standardizing and harmonizing its HR systems and services. We are looking for a Workday Product Owner to play a pivotal role in our HR digital transformation and constructively challenge as-is processes and supporting system landscape, working with colleagues across the globe, several collaborators and internal and external partners.

How You will Make an Impact
- Be a major player in our HR transformation program. Play a key role in the definition of the future technology landscape for Workday, aligning with IT, Business and other partners on a Global scale.
- Lead the Workday Product Roadmap, including the deployment of the Workday HCM in remaining countries. Stay up-to-date on new capabilities of Employee Engagement/Experience technologies and new functionality/features/capabilities of Workday.
- Have an in depth understanding of HR processes and how they translate into Workday Business Processes, including understanding of E2E Workday integration points.
- Establish a Workday governance strategy involving HR and IT leadership and business partners to drive governance for the platform and integrated ecosystem.
- Align with global process owners and lead consensus to arrive at decisions related to future functionality and creative solutioning.
- Work with internal and third-party teams, including Application Management Services (AMS) teams, to influence the Workday product roadmap, understanding and articulating business needs to drive and evaluate/set roadmap priorities.
- Collaborate with technology partners and include industry standard processes to architect technology solutions needed to drive alignment of business needs and lead discussions to arrive at mutually agreeable solution options and integrations.
- Establish project management subject area and governance processes to support initiatives end to end from project planning through testing to delivery to ensure a successful end-user experience for all new deployments and on-going maintenance of Workday and integrations.
- Work with technical resources to maintain platform health and look for continuous improvement options, as well as assist with solving/resolution of raised product issues.
- Ensure system and process compliance in alignment with Risk and Internal Controls and IT general controls, as well as security.
- Lead the relationship with both the software vendor and any professional services engagements.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in leading Workday HRMS strategy and Workday implementation projects
- Multi-country project management with demonstrable ability to apply PM methodology and build and maintain project tools with focus on design, development, testing and delivery.
- Good understanding of HRIS space and dependencies within the HR systems & processes environment
- Experience with solution design, system configuration and implementation of changes within Workday.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions within Workday and working multi-functionally across global teams.
- Experience with establishing relationships across IT and business teams and defining platform governance.
- Experience working with Workday account team, third-party implementation, and system integration vendors.

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – HR Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mentality. Our team is responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget adherence of HR Systems & Services, ensuring, and maintaining fit-for-purpose HR systems and processes, safeguarding end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
