役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)
As Product Owner for at least one Package Tool, you are the central interface between business experts, process owners, and software development. You manage the Tool as your own product, translating stakeholder requirements into clear user stories. Your goal is to create and continuously improve a powerful, integrated application with measurable business impact.
You are responsible for the vision, prioritization, and successful delivery of the Package Tool, which serves as a central configuration tool for complex, configurable machinery packages and drives the digitalization of engineering processes.
The position reports to the Head of Package Tools and is based in Pune.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Central Responsibility: Act as the main point of contact for the Package Tool, understanding its end-to-end usage across the entire engineering and the upstream sales process.
· Requirements Management: Gather, prioritize, and translate requirements from various departments (e.g., Engineering, Service) into actionable user stories.
· Backlog & Roadmap Ownership: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
· Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams to collect feedback and drive product enhancements.
· Interface Management: Ensure integration of the framework with other engineering tools (e.g., PLM, CAD, ERP, COMOS, document management).
· Quality Assurance: Monitor performance and user feedback, identify optimization opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
· Documentation & Training: Oversee the creation of user manuals, guidelines, and training materials for different user groups.
· Release Management: Plan and execute releases, including test phases and user acceptance tests.

What You Bring
· Academic Background: Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent.
· Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Package Engineer or in a similar role in engineering
· Technical Understanding: Experience with complex, configurable products (Engineer-to-Order/Configure-to-Order) and related engineering processes.
· Project Management: Proven experience leading international, virtual teams and in agile project management.
· Communication Skills: Strong ability to present complex technical topics clearly and to moderate between different stakeholders.
· IT & Tool Competence: Knowledge of integrating engineering and enterprise software (e.g., PLM, CAD, ERP, document management).
· Analytical Thinking: Ability to structure, prioritize, and translate requirements into sustainable solutions.
· Languages: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
· Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel internationally up to 5%.
