A Snapshot of Your Day

The role is Operations Lead for the Grid Technologies (GT) Sales business in the AU region. This pivotal role involves leading and mentoring the GT Products execution team, with a focus on enhancing tools, processes, and personnel. From an operational perspective you will be instrumental in supporting between the GT business areas (Products, Digital Grid, Storage, Service, and Grid Stability).

Your primary objective will be to ensure effective operational execution, thereby securing future orders and contracts. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in driving success for Siemens Energy and its customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Operations Lead for the Grid Technologies Sales business for the AU region reporting to the Head of Grid Technologies Sales Australia.
• Leading a dedicated team of Project Manager and/or Project Management Office staff.
• Develops and implements KPIs for the operational team and drives towards continuous improvement.
• Manages Operational Project Reviews according to defined targets, budgets and guidelines.
• Ensure the right culture and behaviours within the overall business.
• Supports in the development and implements PM, PMO and EHS guidelines and processes, and manages respective functional organisation.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Project Management
• Product knowledge or experience with HV equipment (switch gears, transformers, etc)
• In depth contract management experience
• Proven result in complex management roles connected to sales and order execution
• Broad experience in Transmission market
• Experience in different business types, e.g. Products / Systems / Solutions
• Leadership experience and proven track record in people management
• Proven capabilities in driving change and building sustainable teams.
