役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
Step into the engineering design environment supporting offshore wind turbine equipment. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will closely collaborate with fabrication specialists, structural engineers, and design engineers to understand real‑world engineering practices. Your day‑to‑day work will focus on learning mechanical design principles through fabrication drawings while applying international engineering standards such as ISO, DNV, and EN. You will build foundational knowledge in materials, welding, and non‑destructive testing (NDT), while executing assigned tasks under mentor guidance in a structured and methodical manner.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support the digitalization of fabrication data to improve traceability and control over engineering designs.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining standardized engineering datasets to enhance design reliability.
- Contribute to studies involving the collection and interpretation of fabrication data using standard templates.
- Support clarity in material selection methodologies used in offshore equipment design.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to strengthen design and fabrication alignment.
What You Bring
- Strong theoretical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering acquired through academic coursework.
- A learning mindset with the ability to follow technical instructions and apply them effectively.
- The Intern brings years of experience (theoretical knowledge) in the field of academics & a fresh perspective on solving Queries.
- Guidance from your Prof., Student version software & access to university papers will be an added advantage.
About the Team
You will join the Design Team responsible for developing offshore equipment for wind turbine applications. The team works at the intersection of structural design, fabrication, and materials engineering to deliver reliable solutions for the offshore wind industry.
