As a Gas Turbines Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will be at the forefront of Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver reliable power solutions, working on meaningful projects that involve commissioning and troubleshooting of gas turbines and auxiliary systems. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and fact-finding activities on gas turbines and relevant auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Apply Siemens Energy procedures and protocols to execute routine tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify, address, and resolve technical problems, enhancing system reliability and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed outage reports to document findings and support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and drive project success.
  • Engage with diverse audiences, fostering strong partnerships and contributing to Siemens Energy’s global mission.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university, providing a solid foundation for technical expertise.
  • Proven technical skills in gas turbine commissioning, with at least 5 years of experience in cold and hot mechanical commissioning tasks for large power generation gas turbines.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, with the ability to network, negotiate, and influence effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently, demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple and diverse assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure, ensuring timely solutions in critical situations.
  • Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment, showcasing interpersonal skills and sensitivity to diverse cultural needs, along with proficiency in the MS Office suite.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
