A Snapshot of Your Day

Join the Measurement Installation (TMI) team and contribute to measurement campaigns that support wind turbine prototype validation and turbine certification. The position focuses on installing and commissioning measurement systems on turbines and components, both in the R&D workshop and at test sites, global sites, and offshore locations. The work covers the full process from system setup and calibration to installation and final verification, ensuring measurement quality and reliable data delivery. The role includes 70–100 field days per year across Denmark, international locations, and offshore sites.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute installation and commissioning of measurement systems on wind turbines, components, and test stands
  • Perform system setup, calibration, installation, and final verification to ensure accurate and reliable measurement signals
  • Validate that all signals and channels are tested and fully functional prior to leaving site
  • Conduct troubleshooting and re-installation when additional measurements are introduced or faulty sensors are detected during start-up
  • Produce technical documentation (as-built documentation, photos, channel/sensor lists, configurations) and upload it immediately after task completion

What You Bring

  • Technical education as an industrial electrician, electrician, automation technician, or similar electrical background (mechanical experience is an advantage)
  • Strong safety mindset, including preventive work, risk assessments before and during tasks, and stopping work under unsafe conditions
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while collaborating effectively in small teams
  • Danish fluency is required; English proficiency is required due to English-speaking customers
  • Willingness to travel 70–100 days per year (Denmark, international, and offshore)

About the Team

Measurement Installation (TMI) handles all measurement system installations for prototypes, test turbines, and sales projects where measurement campaigns are requested. The team’s work supports prototype validation and contributes to obtaining turbine certification. Increasing demand for additional measurements helps strengthen understanding of how components behave under different conditions. Installations cover a wide range of sensors, including strain gauges, temperature sensors, and accelerometers. Work is carried out both in the R&D workshop and on test sites, global sites, and offshore. The team is made up of measurement technicians and project managers working closely together.
