How You’ll Make an Impact
- The Job & Material Planner is required for a Long-Term Maintenance Service Contract at designated customer facility.
- The Planner will be responsible for material, job & outage planning activities related to the scope of the contract.
- Coordinate outage planning for all maintenance intervention such as identify resources, spares & tools and work closely with the Fleet manager and Client Maintenance Team
- He / She will be required to support the Execution Team in management of spares, tools, and consumables for routine, planned, corrective work and unplanned outages.
- These services shall include - processing of spares requests and general inventory management referenced and outlined in the contractual scope of work.
- Understands Company process for outage planning and ability to drive compliance with outage planning milestones
- The Maintenance Planner will provide regular support for storage and preservation of capital and critical spares covered in Terms in Client Warehouses.
- General inventory management scope for planner may include but not limited to:
- Identification of critical spare parts
- Update on min/max inventory data
- Provide information on spares obsolescence
- Tracking of inventory depletion
- General knowledge of Rotating Equipment (Turbines, Compressors, etc.) hardware - instrumentation, controls & mechanical
- Specialty in inventory management for controls, electrical, instrumentation & mechanical
- Proficient use of Microsoft office tools, Microsoft Project, and Primavera planning tools
- Competence regarding gas turbine compressor package operation and design
- Detailed knowledge of gas compression package auxiliary system components and operation (e.g. lube oil, fuel gas, seal gas)
- Demonstrated planning ability
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Business judgment to be capable and willing to escalate issues when required.
- High level of competence regarding operation, maintenance and design of gas turbine-driven compressor packages
- Understands reliability and availability definitions and can use appropriate Operational Reliability and Availability Program for data analysis
- Understands Siemens product support structure including regional and global support capabilities and points of contact throughout the organization.
- Knowledge of Company issue management processes (Resolve Customer Issue – RCI)
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree (minimum of 2nd class lower division) or HND minimum (upper credit minimum) preferably in Engineering discipline
- 6 years experience in job and material planning including inventory management
- Significant experience with supporting RB211, SGT 600 & Compressor packages
- Significant experience planning major outages – PMs, engine & Power turbines
- Significant experience planning major outages – PMs, engine & Power turbines
- Demonstrates ability to utilize problem solving tools for complex issues
- Makes decisions in a timely manner sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, MS Office, Explorer and Adobe Acrobat, CMMS, ORAP, SAP)
- Ability to work in Client location on 28/28 days rotation
- Ability to travel to offshore locations by helicopter on short notice, having the necessary offshore safety certificate
