As a Logistics and Operational Purchasing Expert, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and each day brings a wide range of meaningful responsibilities. Your work begins with identifying requirements for offshore projects, reviewing quotations, and ordering the equipment and services needed.
Also, it includes monitoring delivery performance, evaluating suppliers, and providing both operational and strategic purchasing support across a broad range of topics. Offshore logistics is unique, as it requires not only exporting goods but, where necessary, arranging their return import as well. Ensuring the reliability of the entire supply and value chain is therefore a key part of the role every single day.
