A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Logistics Professional in the newly established factory in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, you will be instrumental in shaping the logistics and customs framework essential for operational success. This role targets experienced logistics specialists with a strong background in customs compliance and warehouse operations, who are adept at managing complex challenges independently. You can expect a collaborative team culture that values accountability and proactive problem-solving, where your contributions will directly enhance efficiency, support production schedules, and align with Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering reliable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipment processes, coordinating with freight forwarders and transport providers.
  • Oversee inventory control for materials and finished goods using SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Implement and optimize logistics workflows for material movement, storage, and distribution within the factory.
  • Analyze logistics performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Prepare and manage all shipping and logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
  • Act as the primary contact for customs brokers and authorities, resolving documentation discrepancies and clearance delays.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in logistics operations, focusing on customs documentation and compliance.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial factory environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex logistics and customs challenges.
  • Advanced knowledge of Saudi Arabian customs procedures and proficiency in SAP applications.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to professional effectiveness and accountability.
