A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy Aero Derivative Gas Turbines Department as a Logistics Officer, where your day will be dynamic and impactful. You’ll dive into the world of export and customs, ensuring smooth operations and compliance. From classifying exports to supporting business needs, your role is crucial in maintaining efficiency. 
You’ll engage with SAP systems, monitor temporary imports, and generate insightful reports. Collaborate with our Export Control Business Partner, tackling complex cases and ensuring seamless communication. Your expertise will also extend to performing DAMEX and SPS checks, supporting our logistics department in various capacities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Classify exports and provide customs support to enhance business operations.
  • Release EX blocked items in SAP, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Monitor temporary imported goods and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with the Export Control Business Partner, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Perform DAMEX and SPS checks for suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance.
  • Support the Logistics Department as required.

What You Bring

  • A University Degree and 2-3 years experience in import/export.
  • Strong understanding of export and customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP; experience with EX blocked items is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to adapt and support within the logistics department as required.
  • Willingness to travel to Northern Europe around 15% of the working time.
  • Willingness to work with the local team from the office 3 days/week.
