You start your day with a meeting internal team to evaluate their work and plan for the complete day on different projects task.

Now it’s time to start with a bigger implementation task: A new demand has been issued by the customer. You use the rest of the day to understand the required technical details and make a first draft of the design of the required new solution together with the team you are working in.

With your deep understanding of the capabilities of the technology stack you need to facilitate engagements with key collaborators and helping to solve impediments to deliver data use cases to achieve business value and our vision to become a data driven company.

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

·       You will partner with other architects, vendors, partners, business, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into capability/platform roadmaps and work toward realizing the roadmaps

• You will be working across ocean to support Siemens Energy internal and external customers.
• You will Implement standard processes/design patterns and continuously coach/mentor team members. Act as primary technical enthusiast on behalf of API Catalogue and Management team for various API Design patterns involving KONG based APIs.
• You will ensure alignment to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures, while working within the work with development team to design and implement innovative solutions with a focus on adhering to standards, best practices, and code quality techniques
• You will work to build and maintain effective working relationship with key technology team members. You will be supporting Global team in analyst briefings (Forrester, Gartner, IDC, etc.)

• You will be starting as a domain expert and administrator in KONG based API management platform in Siemens Energy and can play a role of API Integration Architect in near future.
• Your recognitions will be global since you will be supporting several Buss. with ~70K users.

What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities

• You should be having total 4 - 8 years of work experience into API Management with at least 3 years of experience in KONG API Management Tools and administration of KONG API Management Platform.
• Should have bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering with Computer Science/IT/Electronics or equivalent, MCA
• Expertise in KONG API management platform is a must.
• Should have strong knowledge on micro service architecture, decentralized APIs and API Testing.
• Should have expertise in maintaining and configuring secure KONG APIs converting monolithic APIs into micro services using KONG plugins effectively.
• Managing KONG API Platform
• Should have hands-on knowledge on AWS infrastructure setup.`
• Should have experience on LUA/JavaScript application programming.
• Should have good experience in Application Security (JWT, SSL, OAuth)
• Should have good understanding of web methodologies, REST Architecture, SOA, ESB, APIs, Web services, WSDL, Open API, XML, JSON, Flat file.
• Good to have interface architecture knowledge with one or more on-premises/ SaaS packaged solutions for ERP, CRM, PLM systems (e.g., SAP, S/4 Hana, Salesforce, Teamcenter, Oracle etc.)
• You should have excellent communications and interpersonal skills and an ability to help customers find the right solution (not the obvious/easy one).
