A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Junior Tax consultant, you will draft income and profit tax returns, identify and elaborate on tax advice points, and conduct analyses in tax legislation. You will also collaborate with Sales, Business, and auditors to develop products and ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- To ensure integrity and high quality of books and records to meet best-practice tax reporting that caters both internal and external requirements.
- Preparation of statutory financial statements under the Greek GAAP and IFRS
- Active participation in the monthly / quarterly / yearly tax closing and reporting, for all customers as per the scheduled timelines.
- Preparation of corporate tax returns, (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc)
What You Bring
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 3-5 years of shown experience working in a similar position as a tax compliance practitioner or as member of a Tax Audit Certificate Team (TACT) or also as a member of an Audit & Assurance team having participated on Audits of Financial Statements.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (IFRS & Local Gaap) and of SAP software
- Proficient in Greek and English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience in working with and supporting cross functional teams of professionals and managers.
- Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
