In this entry-level role, your day typically begins with reviewing data sets and prioritizing tasks for cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data quality. You’ll spend time conducting exploratory data analysis, identifying patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. Throughout the day, you’ll create visualizations to present your findings clearly and participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and insights. Working closely with senior data scientists, you’ll have opportunities to learn and contribute to the development of predictive models, all while applying your foundational skills in statistics and programming to solve real-world problems in a collaborative environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of complex data sets to ensure data quality and integrity for analysis.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and analysts to develop and implement predictive models that address specific organizational challenges.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support the continuous improvement of data processes and methodologies, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, bringing a fresh perspective and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals.

What You Bring 

• A foundational understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques, with a strong desire to deepen your knowledge in the field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with the ability to write clean and efficient code for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools to create insightful and visually appealing representations of data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset, with the ability to approach complex data challenges creatively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic team environment.
