A Snapshot of Your Day
The focus here lies on instrumentation support. This task requires technical and mechanical knowledge of instrumentation, accompanied with dedicated willingness of global travelling. Your main interfaces are our testing engineers and technicians in our global test facilities in Berlin, Mülheim and Casselberry offices.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide instrumentation support for testing and validations of our products globally
- Support the preparation of instrumentation and validation measurements in services and new apparatus
- Coordination of tools and materials on various sites
- Maintenance of tools and materials
- Sensor preparation for the upcoming instrumentation work
- Mechanical preparation of components
- Installation of measuring sensors on components
- Functional check of the instrumented measuring chain
- Documentation of the instrumentation work with photos and sketches
What You Bring
- Apprenticeship as industrial mechanic or comparable
- Work experience ideally as instrumentation application
- Solid knowledge on Gas Turbine technology
- Basic understanding of technical drawings
- Good mechanical skills and/ or instrumentation skills
- Willingness to travel >40%
- Good verbal communications skills in English
- German language is beneficial
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
You will work in an agile and experienced team consisting of Project engineers, Coordinator of components and Instrumentation Applications. You can expect a pleasant and friendly working atmosphere within the team, characterized by appreciative and respectful interaction
together.
