A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in performing mechanical and electrical assembly activities that meet our high standards. Imagine using your expertise in assembly, field wiring, and panel building to build innovative solutions. You will engage in hands-on mechanical and electrical fitting activities, using both hand and machine tools. Your dedication to quality will shine as you self-certify your build activities, ensuring they align with relevant standards. You’ll also maintain a clean and orderly working environment, supporting our culture of safety and excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly activities, ensuring compliance with all quality standards.
- Lead the way in LV electrical terminations, showcasing your proficiency in all aspects of assembly and wiring.
- You will escalate any quality, tooling, or health and safety issues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain build documentation in line with quality requirements, supporting our dedication to excellence.
- Collaborate with the Lead Technician and Lead Supervisor, contributing to team objectives and supporting colleagues in their tasks.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering environment, with at least 2 years focused on hydrogen Power Units.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical/mechanical qualifications that demonstrate your technical expertise.
- Proficiency in all types of LV electrical terminations, showcasing your hands-on skills.
- A proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- A flexible attitude, ready to support cross-functional teams and demonstrate innovative ideas in your work.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonisation. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalization of the fleet.
